VISIONING COMMITTEE UPDATES

September 22, 2026

A thermometer and list of projects completed will be added to a wall in the narthex so the FPCR family can "see" what the Change-for-Change project has funded and amount needed toward the current goal which is to fund the Retaining Wall on the cemetery.
Cathy Romanski is planing to bring a sample cake so we can all taste the birthday cake made from the suppl kit we plan to provide the Slinger Foood Pantry.
The crocheted leaves are made for Fall distribution. Melissa Kujawa presently has them.
October 4 is FPCR's Day of Givin. Parishioners will pick up a gift card to distribute within the community. Feedback forms will be available for return on October 11.
Sunday, October 18, the boy scouts and Rick Romanski will work on the cemetery monument cleaning. Additionally, Miller Monument will be out to straighten and repair some of the headstones on the cemetery.
There was a discussion about finding a Trunk-or-Treat community event to participate in as a church for Halloween.
The Christmas Carol event was discussed with several ideas on the table ranging from an afternooon of caroling at the church to caroling at a nursing home to caroling in a subdivision. December 13 was selected as the date.

August 11, 2026

Each of the groups responsible for the ideas listed under July 14 reported. There was also a discussion about the cemetery and work being done and needed for the future.

Five ideas have been discussed and are being worked on by committee members:

4. SFP Food Drive Challenge
5. Christmas Carol Sing Along

June 16 and 30, 2026

"Wow" projects were discussed. A summary will be posted after the June 30 meeting.

June 2, 2026

The time was spent brainstorming the possibility for a "Wow" event that would help people know we are open and welcoming. Any ideas should be submitted to Keith by Tuesday, June 9.
